Our story
The story behind your chocolate.
Every bar of Kora begins on African soil, nurtured by people who care for their land. Thank you for being part of our story.
Why “Kora”?
Named after an instrument of harmony and storytelling.
The kora is the 21-string harp-lute of West Africa, played by griots who carry families' and nations' stories in song. Like the kora, our chocolate brings many voices together — farmers, landscapes, ingredients and craft — into one harmonious taste.

Our purpose
Discover Africa through chocolate.
Kora was created to answer one question: what does Africa taste like? We celebrate the rich heritage of African cocoa and the extraordinary flavours of the continent — crafted in Kenya, sourced from Africa, made for the world.
Farmers & communities
Before it becomes chocolate, it begins with someone.
We will introduce the people behind our ingredients here — with their consent, in their own words, and only once relationships are verified.

Photographs are illustrative. Named farmer profiles will be published only with consent and verification.
